Green Building: Radiant Heating Systems

Radiant heat is one of the most comfortable forms of heating for your home and is particularly well-suited for use with a geothermal heating system due to the lower temperature required.  Radiant heat is a form of heating that warms people rather than the air of a room.

We have installed hydronic radiant tubing below tile as well as hardwood finish floors with equal success. This form of underfloor radiant heat is very even and consistent.  It's particularly well-suited to spaces with high ceilings since the heat is efficiently transferred to the people in the room.
