We changed the layout of this apartment in a 1920s Art Deco style building on Manhattan's Upper West Side to improve the flow and create a Foyer space. We also removed the wall enclosing the Kitchen to bring more light into the Dining Area from the west facing window and create an open floor plan. We designed sleek custom Kitchen cabinets inspired by the Streamline Moderne lines of the existing building. The cabinetry extends into the Dining Area with a curving penninsula.

FS Architects also designed the Deco style aluminum railing and specified all the interiors including window treatments, decorative painting, furniture and fabrics.
